PARTNERSHIP & COLLABORATION


Under the Centre for Academic, Industry and International Collaboration (CAIC), AMU is aggressive in developing global linkages with organizations and institutions in various fields.

In line with our vision to uplift communities with equitable access to quality education, AMU’s involvement in the education field is further enhanced by strategic collaborations with some of the world-best institutions from around the globe. These include the collaboration with Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT) in Ireland;Kaplan Higher Education Academy in Singapore;Institute of Commercial Management in the United Kingdom; Hong Kong City Institute (HKCI), Jilin Business and Technology College, Westgate College Private Ltd in Sri Lanka; Al-Andalus International Institute, and Taleem Educational Services and Consultation in Saudi Arabia; Universitas Islam Bandung in Indonesia; Saveetha Institute of Medical & Technical Sciences, Saraswathi Institute of Medical Sciences, Kongu Engineering College, and Chennai Academy of Architecture & Design in India; Horseed International University in Bangladesh; Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University in Kazakhstan; Universidad Del Pacifico in Nicaragua; and Chiang Mai University in Thailand.

AMU is also collaborating with institutions in offering programmes through franchising. We are currently offering our collaboration programmes with F1 Academy and Technical Analysis, Emeritus Addiction Studies, Pusat Latihan dan Kemahiran Bestari, RIS Learning Sdn Bhd, First Ambulance Services Sdn Bhd, and Westgate Venture Sdn Bhd.

True to our mission to transform societies with holistic learning and outstanding student experiences, AMU has also created collaboration with the local and international industries to assist academics faculties and students in terms of inbound and outbound of staff and students’ ex-change programmes, apprenticeship, clinical practices, training and development, employment opportunities and other related matters pertaining to assisting academics and students in AMU.With the industries’ collaboration, it creates more platforms to students in getting industrial experience through internships and more employment opportunities for AMU’s graduates in securing job placement in local and international companies overseas including in Germany, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore. NOTIFICATION ON THE TERMINATION OF COLLABORATION AGREEMENTS WITH AIMSMET EXECUTIVE EDUCATION CENTRE SDN. BHD AND DATO JAYLES/PROF. DATO’ DR. JAYLES YEOH

We, Asiamet (M) Sdn Bhd and Asia Metropolitan University [hereinafter collectively referred to as “AMU”], hereby announce the termination of our Collaboration Agreement with Aimsmet Executive Education Centre Sdn. Bhd. [“AEEC”] and all associated parties, including Dato Jayles/Prof. Dato’ Dr. Jayles Yeoh with immediate effect.

In light of the termination, AEEC is no longer affiliated with AMU in any manner. AEEC and Dato Jayles/Prof. Dato’ Dr. Jayles Yeoh is also no longer authorized to represent or associate AMU in any way whatsoever to any third parties and shall cease all activities, dealings or representations on behalf of AMU. Therefore, we request all third parties to cease any further communication or dealings with AEEC in matters concerning AMU.

We also hereby state that AMU shall not be liable or responsible for any representations or actions made by AEEC and Dato Jayles/Prof. Dato’ Dr. Jayles Yeo that is not authorized by AMU. AMU shall also not be liable or responsible for any breach committed by AEEC and Dato Jayles/Prof. Dato’ Dr. Jayles Yeo resulting from the termination.
