Bachelor In medical Imaging & Radiotherapy (Hons) programme seeks to provide students with the skills to facilitate the operations and management of medical imaging devices such as Computed Tomography (X-rays), ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines to create diagnostic images for analysis and interpretation.

This programme encompasses two disciplines medical imaging and radiotherapy. Medical Imaging is the acquisition of images of the human body for the purpose of diagnosis using ionizing and non ionizing radiationeg radiography, Computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. Radiotherapy isthe medical use of ionizingradiation as part of cancer treatment to control or kill malignant cells.
